Hi friends,
Do you, like me, need to return to gospel sanity?
This week already feels out of control and I could easily go down the road of believing the feeling is real!
It’s not real, though. Don’t believe the feeling! The Lord is in full control. Return to Graceland…a place where grace and God reign, not our feelings.
Today, and this week, I’m focusing on a few verses to remind me of Who’s in control. And if the Lord is in control, my week really isn’t OUT of control.
Proverbs 19:21 – “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.”
Romans 8:28 – “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Isaiah 45:6-7 – “That people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the Lord, who does all these things.”
Matthew 19:26 – “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
These are just a few of God’s Words that are encouraging me today and helping me be Battle Ready! What scripture are you holding onto this week?
Now…the winner of the Battle Ready book!
Suzanne Heitzman, you are the blessed winner!

I feel like you wrote this post just for me! Many of my weeks feel out of control and too busy. The verse from Proverbs is especially relevant. Thank you!
Hi Laurie, thanks for sharing. I’m so glad the verses were relevant!
