Have I learned contentment?
Who would’ve thought playing with pumpkins in a creek could be so fun? It was a great challenge to throw pumpkins into our creek and try to pick them up from inside a makeshift boat, an old deer sled. Picking them up was somewhat easy, but getting them into the sled without tipping it over was another. Our poodle, Shadow, enjoyed putting the stems of pumpkins in her mouth to drag them up the slippery bank and out of the frigid water….
