It’s that time of year when I begin to sense a shift. Even though it’s not officially fall, pumpkin latte selfies are on the verge of being the rage. Back to school pictures on Facebook pop up in my feed, I find it really is the time to stock up on school supplies, and I see, once again, that I really do get the drive to homeschool again. I’m willing to bet that most of us are ready for a new season with pantries filled with pumpkin pie filling…

Baby Jesus came into the world with purpose, to bring his brightest light into the darkest dark.
“The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world.” -John 1:9
Some people turn away from his light, but by coming He has brought light to the world.
Look on any news site right now and you will see all kinds of woes. Yet is this, perhaps, one of our world’s greatest catastrophes? That, “He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him”…

We enjoyed a beautiful fall day on Sunday. After church, we went apple picking and pumpkin grabbing.
The kids wanted to go in the hay maze at the pumpkin farm. Papa got them started but they ALL decided it was too big and too dark.
