This past week, I held a random drawing for two newsletter subscribers to win a copy of The Turquoise Table by Kristin Schell.
Congratulations to Madeleine and Kathy!
I must admit, I don’t own a turquoise table! I’m also in the midst of moving and rehabbing and I’m a mess! I do have a bit of turquoise on my front porch so I’m claiming that as my space to remind me to welcome people into my life.
I’m also trying to think of my blog as my turquoise table. Much of want I want to do on my blog could be hindered by fear. Fear of being known and of you seeing all of my flaws. The same fears that could keep me from inviting people into my home more often. What am I missing when I make the mistake of operating out of fear?
Are you missing out on people or experiences God may be calling you to because of fear?
This book has helped me to think more about BEING WITH people rather than DOING. I hope it encourages you too if you decide to read it!
Here is a very short documentary about Kristin Schell’s story of how the turquoise table “happened”…so good! Enjoy!
Thank you to all who subscribe to my newsletter! If you are only a blog subscriber, would you please join my newsletter by clicking this button? Newsletter subscribers will have access exclusive deals and freebies that I can’t always share on my blog. Thank you!Wasteland to Graceland Newsletter
